Pros

Working as a project engineer you are exposed to lots of different companies where you could potential transition into a better paying job. You will become very familiar with products that you are reqested to evaluate.

Cons

The monthly expected project completion is hard to meet, when the pipeline of projects is not available. The lean staffing in sales and other departments makes it difficult to keep a steady flow of projects to complete. Also, this company has lots of lab locations that will be competing against each other for projects. This does not make for a healthy work structure.
