Pros
They care about their staff. Genuinely supportive if you are ambitious and managers will help you to get other internal jobs if you are looking to grow. If you want exposure, you can certainly get it and the execs will give you the time of the day if you genuinely have some ideas. Great people and can offer a good work life balance if that is what you want, also lot's of work to do if you want to be successful. I learned a lot and have recommended the place and brought people in.
Cons
For a 300 year old company there is too much "Short-term ism" and very tactical. They think about the problem now and run around like headless chickens solving the immediate issue and the the year after have the goldfish moment and re start again with the same issues. Systems can be be quite bad at the best of times.
