Worked only for 6 months. Right from Day 1 of training for the license, I performed at the top of my batch. Scored 92% in the license exam, won one of the three awards in incubation training (in a batch of 16), and secured my first insurance sale right on Day 1 on the floor. I consistently performed exceptionally well, scoring at least 170-250% above the targets on every scorecard. My manager said I was a natural at customer service. I was being compared to people who had been in the position for at least 2-3 years and experts. I behaved politely in office, spoke very little as I was learning about the culture (since I am from a different country), and showed respect to everyone with extra caution.
The finale: I was let go because HR thought I didn't align with their values.
I wish I could describe what exactly happened, but I'm bound by their confidentiality agreement.
I truly believed I could have a long-term future with this company, but after being so careful and excelling at my job, it seemed like HR thought they were above all.
