They force you to attend "mandatory" happy hours after 9.5 hour days, regardless of your home life. So even if you don't drink, they will make you. I once stated I needed to get home to my dog and was told that was a lame excuse. I was also in trouble for missing an event that was unrelated to work because it was my friend's birthday. If you don't conform to them and make your whole life about IG, they single you out and make you feel like an outcast. There is a reason no one in the offices have any friends outside of IG. They gaslight you into thinking it's a great team environment where you will make a lot of money in the interview, but in reality they work you like a dog for next to nothing in the beginning and it's required to work 7:30am to 5:00pm every day. There is no work/home life balance. It's either you give up everything for IG or you get made fun of behind your back (yes, they have a teams group where they make fun of new recruiters). They prey on new graduates because it's easier to convince them that this is a normal work environment. Everyone that comes from other jobs will quit once they realize that it was all a trap. They will destroy your confidence and make you feel like a failure over "CPFs". They make you waste candidates' time just to try and get information out of them so they can call on their manager and sell IG. They also make you call people and lie about opportunities we don't even have just to get information. It's all a scam and the whole company has no morals whatsoever. Oh, and they only hire "attractive" people, and the account managers all do drugs together at the holiday parties.
