Pros

- Pay is ok, although a significant portion is tied to bonus - IQVIA is a well known name, so likely looks good on a resume - Work from home 2 days a week - Mostly good coworkers who want to help patients - 21 days PTO plus holidays

Cons

- If you want to meet your metrics, you will work evenings, weekends, and holidays to work with patient schedules. - If you don't, you will hear about it and be threatened with a performance improvement plan. - Your metrics (and your team's) will constantly be compared to coworkers. They are obsessed with numbers here and they want a competition. Kind of like pharmaceutical sales, but without the pay. - You will be pressured to do injection training with every patient even if they have already received injection training with their HCP. - You will be pressured to meet quotas for video calls. - You will be questioned if too many new enrollments decline ambassador follow up (even though it's voluntary and enrollment is not always patient initiated). - You will be micromanaged and have meetings every 2-4 weeks with your managers, which involves them listening to your video and phone calls, reviewing metrics reports, and setting an improvement goal for the following month.

Pros

Resources and access to good studies to be successful in research, immediate PTO benefits, 401k match.

Cons

Growth opportunities/compensation - besides the annual merit raises of <3 percent I haven’t gotten a raise in 5 years.

Pros

The layoffs were handled quietly and unexpectedly, even though there were some early signs. They didn’t share who else was affected, but it was clearly more than just me.

Cons

They’re doing layoffs in phases, and my position was part of the most recent round.
