Pros

-IQVIA DM is supportive. -You get paid.

Cons

My con section could go on for days. Any nurse looking at these reviews because of all the openings..it’s because so many have left. Senior leadership has RUINED this program. -Remember senior leadership does not care about you. They want you to get the patient to do a virtual or injection training by any means necessary, including lying to patients. I swear senior leadership gets off on patients doing virtual engagements and they don’t care how you get them. -The micromanaging is strong here. A patient doesn’t answer a call? Expect a report about it. A patient doesn’t want to do a virtual? Expect a call about it. A patient stops answering your calls? An email about it. - Do not expect any kind of raise. - Do not expect any career advancement - Do not expect to work normal business hours. You will work evenings, weekends, holidays. They say they care about work life balance but it’s all based on the patient schedules. If you miss an injection training you won’t get your bonus. And even more they will start calling your patients asking why. -They say you have autonomy but you don’t. They will create every report imaginable to pick apart your work.

Pros

Great pay initially, especially after negotiating. People are very smart and willing to meet for networking and learning opportunities. Flexibility and work life balance is by far the best perk - especially since many roles are fully remote.

Cons

Merit raises have been subpar the last 4 years and do not come close to keeping with inflation, consistently the company cites great EBITDA growth but that never is shown in bonuses nor merit raises despite receiving “exceeds expectations” ratings. Parental leave is a nominal. Very easy to get “lost in the sauce” of such a large company.
