      Opportunity to learn about new products from different companies. Work environment was positive but you have to look over shoulder and make sure the product is selling.

      Cons

      The contract can end at anytime without warning. So you need to go in with your eyes open to that fact.

      Growth opportunities/compensation - besides the annual merit raises of <3 percent I haven’t gotten a raise in 5 years.

      The layoffs were handled quietly and unexpectedly, even though there were some early signs. They didn’t share who else was affected, but it was clearly more than just me.
