      Pros

      Many benefits Good pay Great training Good systems Wonderful people Excellent experience Would definitely work for Quintiles again!

      Cons

      Can be difficult to move up and move around, even with all of the different departments. It is common knowledge that to move up relatively quick, in both pay and title, you have to leave and then come back.

      Resources and access to good studies to be successful in research, immediate PTO benefits, 401k match.

      Cons

      Growth opportunities/compensation - besides the annual merit raises of <3 percent I haven’t gotten a raise in 5 years.

      The layoffs were handled quietly and unexpectedly, even though there were some early signs. They didn’t share who else was affected, but it was clearly more than just me.

      Cons

      They’re doing layoffs in phases, and my position was part of the most recent round.
