Pros

- On your own - No Micromanagement - Get a paycheck - Sometimes you make a bonus - Company Car

Cons

Texas: - Company had layoffs (brought 30+ people on a call to lay them off together) - Reps have 20-30 stops a day - Heavy workload - You have to be flexible on your days off...you have to rotate with other reps when requesting off - You have to make up a sick day if you take off (mandatory) - Heavy lifting (You will load 700 pounds worth of paper in your van) - Your van will constantly break down - No room to move up - Management DOES NOT CARE about you - Bonus structure unfair and doesn't make sense (sometimes if you sell alot you will not see a bonus) based on your "Category" - They promote from outside the company so you could have a boss that doesn't know what they are doing - Bad Politics- They play favorites - SOMETIMES THERE ARE NO INCENTIVES (Quarterly Bonus) - Tracker on your company vehicle (they have trust issues) - Low starting pay - No personal mileage allowed in company car - Long Days and alot of travel time - You get calls all day from retailers - Summers are brutal - Upper level management is absent - Morale is just terrible

Pros

Lots of good things in my area & manager Good salary, decent benefits

Cons

Ultimately did not value employees enough to utilize them or investigate what they were actually providing when layoffs were done in ambush fashion
