Advise any potential applicant thinking of joining this business to do your due -diligence thoroughly first Extremely high staff turnover Poor working conditions No dedicated staff lunch/break room. No cupboards or easy access to water, or sink. No area to relax during breaks, always multiple interruptions Just a small table in the back corner of the busy store room and access to the main freezer. No toilets in the store, have to use public toilet across the road A stressful toxic working environment caused my female store owner/manager All staff walk on eggshells when she walks in for the day Treats staff as her slaves instead as the most valued asset to the business A customer overheard the way the owner spoke to one of the staff members one day and re-laid it to certain senior staff members and referred to the "Owner-Manager" as a total narcissist Micromanages staff Sets unrealistic expectations on staff The majority of staff leave at the end of every day totally stressed out A couple of staff members went for serious major life-saving operations late last year, and the owner/manager never contacted them, texted, or emailed to wish them all the best or follow up during their hospital surgeries & 2 months of recovery All staff are just a replaceable number/consumable to the owner/manager
