You are hired as a contractor with the hope of going direct someday but this is an absolute illusion and unless you are hired as an Associate from the beginning you will always be a contractor. There is almost zero chance of going direct once you hire on as a contractor. What this means is depending on what contract house hires you for Honda you will get zero benefits or astronomical insurance rates if any. The plant closes a week for Christmas so again this means as a contractor no $$$. Put in for seasonal work at Walmart that week!
