Pros
The team that you work with are really nice and so are the other staff around the hotel. You get free lunch during the week and free breakfast on the weekends.
Cons
Many more cons: You are expected to do so much work for the amount you are getting paid. Management don’t let you have more then 5 staff on breakfast which seems like a lot but when you have over 250 people coming to eat at a buffet breakfast it’s like hell. It’s just unrealistic. Certain management are rude and think they are to superior to even say hello to you. The work load is just way to much in one shift. It actually gives me stress just thinking about it. Also you are suppose to receive your staff discount after the probation period. I worked there for over a year and still hadn’t received my staff discount. No one even mentioned it I’m still staying after my probation was over. It was just really unprofessional. Would I recommend this job to anyone, NO! But if you like waking up at 4:30am on certain days and work like a dog for your shift then yes I would recommend this job to you.
