      Pros

      Good place to work, good people, busy at times, slow at others, but that's the hotel life. Convention hotel, so mostly business travelers (both good and bad depending on convention).

      Cons

      High turnover rates (again, common to hotels), some positions have supervisors/managers that are micro-managerial-ish, and always use threats and discipline to gain compliance.

      Pros

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
