We offer a flexible work environment and as such offer many benefits to ensure a strong work life balance. We’re troubled to see that you mention you were forced to work past your normal working hours – as this is not the culture we’ve worked very hard to develop. Sometimes when we work to outperform, responsibilities require a flexible approach to working beyond the stipulated hours as necessary – however, this is not the norm and our team leaders as well as team members are mature enough to understand this. We invest huge resources into the hiring, onboarding and training of new staff members and therefore making new joiners leave early is counterproductive to our business and not the culture we promote. Our new hires undergo a rigorous orientation and integration which lasts upto 6 months. We would like to point out that, therefore, new hires do get engaged early and do not like to leave Hilti as demonstrated by our high engagement scores, very low attrition (14%) and very high integration success rate (88%).
