Pros

The salary is very competitive. Good benefits.

Cons

The environment is toxic, upper management has the final say in everything, no chance at being fully remote, lots of turnover, management doesn’t even know what half their team members do on a daily basis. Some folks are hesitant to switch to better systems, so the company is generally one or two versions off from the newest. No work / life balance. Expected to take calls while driving.

Pros

The job is not too difficult. You mainly work on your own, Pay and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

12 hour shifts. Only one tech per shift so vacations can be a bit dicey. Support from peers is low and there is a lot of back biting in the lab. Sometimes they seem to be lookng for a scapegoat.
