Pros

I had the opportunity to work with extremely smart and talented co-workers.

Cons

Long working hours, no consideration to add headcount no matter how big the company grows, no recognition, tough culture, work-life balance is non-existent, behind the times with systems. Managers and senior leadership are disrespectful and boorish to employees and do not care about employees well being, they only care if the work is getting done no matter at what cost. Not having up to date systems, made all the work extremely manual.

Pros

The job is not too difficult. You mainly work on your own, Pay and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

12 hour shifts. Only one tech per shift so vacations can be a bit dicey. Support from peers is low and there is a lot of back biting in the lab. Sometimes they seem to be lookng for a scapegoat.
