Pros
The people are nice (though the turnover is ridiculous)
Cons
-It's a German company and the Germans assume they know everything and want you to do everything their way. So much time is spent on unnecessary requests for the Germans and making changes to work being done because someone completely out of touch with the US market wants to see something different. You will spend months working on a project only to be told something by someone in Germany that everything needs to change. (And then they wonder why new products fail, the campaigns don't resonate with the consumer, or why employees are constantly leaving...) -The cost cutting is ridiculous. Everything is done out of Manilla or Bratislava, so it's a nightmare talking to a real human being or getting something simple done (like getting your computer fixed or getting a new item set up). But hey, at least its really cheap labor that turns over all the time due to how poorly they're treated. - This is absolutely not real marketing. Real marketing does not involve spending hours filling out forms that discuss what bottle type is being used or what the code of a label is. There is too much work that should be given to the cross functional team, but instead there's a lot of push onto marketing to do stuff that is beyond a time suck. -Nothing is simple -- there are processes for processes. The number of hoops that are needed to jump through for a simple task is absurd. -For every person who is great and does his job well, there is another person who does not know what the word "work" means and just comes up with excuses why he cannot do the job he is paid to do. (And the best part -- there is no accountability so hey, why not keep on slacking off?)
