Pros

Strong company culture and values – Employees commonly praise Henkel’s inclusive, collaborative culture with supportive colleagues and a values-driven environment. Good work-life balance and flexibility – Many reports mention manageable hours, hybrid/remote options, and flexibility that help with personal life commitments. Competitive benefits package – Reviews often note solid benefits (health insurance, PTO, bonuses, employee programs, etc.) compared with industry peers. International and diverse environment – Working across markets and cultures is seen positively, offering exposure and learning opportunities. Opportunities for learning and growth – For many roles, employees mention professional development and clear pathways to advance, especially early in careers.

Cons

Slower career progression – Some employees feel promotion cycles are slow, especially compared with other large corporations. Bureaucracy and rigid systems – As a large global company, layers of process and slow decision-making frustrate staff at times. Management inconsistency – Experiences with team leadership vary, and some reviews cite poor managerial communication or support. Lower pay at entry levels (relative) – A few employees note that compensation at junior levels can be below market average in some regions or departments. Mixed experiences by role/location – While many report positive culture, some roles/locations have tougher environments, higher turnover, or limited advancement.

Pros

The job is not too difficult. You mainly work on your own, Pay and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

12 hour shifts. Only one tech per shift so vacations can be a bit dicey. Support from peers is low and there is a lot of back biting in the lab. Sometimes they seem to be lookng for a scapegoat.
