0 Work life balance. They over-hire part time uni students to account for the ridiculous turnover because contracts are 12hrs a week, then every 2 months the remaining staff will have to work full time hours, then the cycle repeats. Part timers given management responsibility and pressure, without the mgnmt pay, random cutting of hours then overload of hours because the hired managers leave after 2 months. Expect inconsistency. Expect to be rostered on days you have uni, and not rostered during holidays where you are free to work more. Expect ridiculous targets that raise without any rhyme or reason only to receive more shipments of unsaleable product that doesn't align with your communication about what sells or is popular in your store. Expect to be accountable for intricate business operations and store progression pressure when you are a part time uni student because they can't retain a full-timer or two managers longer than 2 months. You will not be thanked for going above and beyond, but will be publicly accountable for anecdotal incidences of mistakes.
