Pros

Not many. Pay is decent if you're a recent graduate. Benefits are alright.

Cons

Management is a mess. They provide the absolute bare minimum for training, put the onus on you to "just ask questions" and then are rude and condescending when you do exactly that. Attorneys don't communicate with anybody about basically anything, outside of "monthly" meetings that often get canceled at the last minute. If you're not an attorney or shareholder, nobody gives you the time of day and you just have to figure things out on your own. I'm sure that's cheaper and easier in the short term, but it puts the firms clients and its reputation at very real risk. It's also pretty suspicious that every time a couple of negative reviews come in with consistent complaints about specific issues, a wave of vague 5-star reviews follows soon after. That alone says that management has no intention of working on these problems and is content to let its business staff tread water.

Pros

Flexibility in day to day schedule

Cons

The firm about faced on its core value of “Diversity is in our DNA”. Compensation is below industry for staff as the firm works to save every dollar for the partners but under pay staff. Further, the emails from the firms “executive chairman” show a lack of emotional intelligence as many of them are tone deaf to the circumstances of the day. The firm has clearly taken a shift from its socially liberal roots becoming more and more MAGA in nature.
