Pros
Common areas of the office are very nice.
Cons
I’m not sure where to start with this. The environment at the Business Immigration Group was terrible. Very poor if any management. They will hire you and claim to train you from the bottom up but that is a lie. You’re expected to learn based on former cases. There is no dedicated manager or supervisor who will be in charge of your training. Your success depends on how fast you can turn cases around and which team you are with. Most of the attorneys are too stressed or uncaring to put in the effort to foster a good working relationship. In the last year there have been 12+ paralegals who have left because of this place. Two of the three partners are mostly absent and out of touch. One partner is there daily but is not great to work with. The practice group handled the pandemic poorly. Working from home was not well developed so coming into the office was the best way to get anything done. In addition the group did nothing to appreciate the work paralegals put in during this time. Everyone is stressed and this job messes with your stress level and mental health. Most people are aware of it and nothing changes. Stay away.
