Pros

The attorneys in the office are truly some of the kindest people you’ll meet.

Cons

Marketing department lacked structure and organization. Some men in other departments made inappropriate or overly personal comments, creating an uncomfortable environment. There appeared to be unequal treatment among staff, with potential bias concerns. Certain colleagues also created an unwelcoming atmosphere through judgmental behavior, which made it difficult to feel respected or included. Communication was poor, and favoritism was evident. There was no space for learning or forgiveness. I was often given projects without any proper explanation or training, and expected to figure them out alone until someone had time. When I tried to stay productive in the meantime, I was subtly made to feel lazy. The overall culture lacked support, respect, and clear communication from leadership. The support staff also lacked diversity, which impacted the overall inclusivity of the environment. Also, last but most importantly, there was little to no growth opportunities. Severely underpaid in this position.

Pros

Broad marketing and business development exposure. The marketing department is highly structured, with established systems and processes in place to ensure the successful execution of all deliverables.

Cons

This is a full-time, in-office position, making it harder for harder work-life balance. The role is highly diverse, with responsibilities varying based on the office and the needs of the attorneys being supported. Hard to Quantify Impact
