Pros

Great pay and benefits. Good opportunities for advancement.

Cons

HR is very bad - not sure how else to say it. An advocate for the company for sure. Health and wellness - very very bad. When interviewing for a production role, be sure to ask how many people in operations have either died from occupational related illness - especially cancer - either while they worked there or shortly after they retired. Personally - I have worked on projects to minimize the exposure to chemicals that cause these conditions and the improvements were denied due to the low operating ROI. Bottom line is what matters here folks. Let the employee beware in the production areas!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you feel that way about the working environment in our site in Cincinnati. We proactively monitor our work spaces related to chemical handling. Based on these results, we apply personal protective equipment and install engineering controls to reduce exposures. In addition, we annually provide medical monitoring to all production employees that allows us to look for health trends in our workforce. As you are currently employed at Givaudan, I suggest that you get in touch with your line manager to raise your concerns. Also available is our confidential Ethics and Compliance Helpline, which is designed for those cases in which a colleague does not feel able to speak out.
