Pros
Good experience in healthcare, good training, good future with a 2013 10-year contract. Pay is contract-dictated, vertical movement is also contract-based. Great entry-level job to gain experience.
Cons
The "Quality" department is usually full of people who could not "do" the job and are so removed from the process of interacting with beneficiaries that it can make properly assisting beneficiaries difficult to do. The "Quality" department is sort of like the police and they have a quota to meet so the reviews coming out of the "Quality" department are skewed and inaccurate not to mention vindictive. If beneficiaries knew how the Quality department were analyzing calls, they would be unpleasantly shocked.
