Teacher Position - Anonymous employee Gaston County Schools Employee Review

No union in North Carolina, so the principals can make you stay late as much as they want, after school and before school duties are required, yet administrators are seldom there with you. My school requires working several sporting events and staying until the end. On teacher work days, we are never allowed to leave to get lunch out. No off duty lunch time- you are with the kids, in the cafeteria eating lunch.
