Business Outlook
Pros
Gap has a pretty good corporate culture. It fosters creativity and teamwork. At least for my group, it does a good job of maintaining a work-life balance.
Cons
Although it is improving, the career development is somewhat lacking. Gap tries to foster an openness in looking within the corporation for job opportunities, but doesn't have a firm framework in place for those who want to change their careers. Gap is a fairly young company, meaning that most employees are probably in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties. If you can't seem to reach mid or upper-level management by the time you reach 40, I'm not sure if the Gap would be a good fit culturally.
