Pros
Gap offers a strong brand and resources dedicated towards employee training and development. Also good benefits - generous PTO, employee discounts, etc.
Cons
Very difficult to transfer between departments so not a good place for long-term development unless you really love retail. Compensation is below average. Promotions and raises are based more on politics than performance. Little to no emphasis on management training so you may be managed by people with limited skills and ability.
