      Pros

      The people at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. can best be described as friendly and encourage growth within the company. They want to see you succeed and are very flexible to let you pursue any ideas you may have. As an intern, I was able to learn more than I ever thought and actually do hands-on activities in the industry that will help me with my future career.

      Cons

      If I had to say a con, it would be that the insurance knowledge required to do your job successfully can be overwhelming, but if you have a desire to learn it can also be very exciting.

      Work from home, some decent co workers

      Was brought on from AP merge and sorely missing the culture and my old job. Gallagher uses extremely Complex systems with minimal training, yes they train.. but if you ask questions they treat you like youre incompetent. Make sure you’re an expert in 30 days or else you’re not living up to expectations. Burnout culture is the norm. You are truly a “cog in the wheel” like they say within their values. Worst job I have ever worked, not good for mental health.
