Pros

My years with Smithkline Beecham 1998 to GSK 2007 were great. I always knew what was expected of me in the sales capacity. They were a very fair and wonderful to work for. The change in 2008 was defintely for the worse. I understand layoffs and downturn in business is part of a cycle and expected but upper management has absolutely no direction and has completely demotivated the entire sales force. It is incredibly unbelieveable, a complete shame.

Cons

Not a sales organization anymore. Going for customer service. Not happy about this because I am a shareholder. Lost several co-promotions based on sales(non-sales structure). Upper management keeps changing sales structure; this makes sales team realize they have no idea what they are doing. Very demotivated sales team.
