Pros
Your typical corporate giant. The office is nice, there are a lot of relaxation opportunities like table tennis, table socer, Xbox. Occaisionally you get free food. The work equipment is great, the desks and the chairs are comfortable. Sometimes you get to work with state of art technology and if you're lucky you get to work with skilled people. Compensation is average and based on pay bands. If you're looking for a place just to get by and do the 9 to 5 this is good fit.
Cons
There are a lot of weird people there, unfortunately most of them have critical responsibilities. Hence politics is a huge factor, decisions are made oftentimes slowly and not in a rational way. A few people dont even come in every workday, they usually just fake an excuse and no one asks. Processes are considered more important than productive work, you can do a year retrospective and find that not much value has been produced. The average professional competence is moderate, development is very slow. People get preferential treatment (promotions, awards, tickets to conferences) based on their connections within the company. It's a cliche of course, but its pretty ironic if you think about how much effort the company puts into raising awareness about diversity and political correctness. Wierd situations occur when small managerial people overestimate their impact and try to force their way contradicting teamwork.
