people..The most valuable asset a company can have, and previous alstom \GE employees are hard working , competent and diligent. Given strong management, budgets and a clean direction. Things will get done
Cons
GE management is based and derived on how to save a buck. Anything goes even if the short term decision is going to be long term negative. I have not worked for a company that makes so many poor financial and personnel decisions.

Sorry to hear you don't recommend GE but appreciate your comments. GE's going through quite a bit of change so we appreciate you sharing your insights. Though things are changing, we don't always get it right and we will take your feedback under advisement.
My first job after college and my internship was a great experience. I learned a lot about medical devices and the medical device industry, and I even got promoted to site leader pretty quickly.
Cons
My training was nonexistent; I learned everything from medical device service manuals. In my region, a billion-dollar company offered no bonuses or decent pay, and the management was micromanaging and horrible.
