Pros

It's a big, pretty stable company If you like it there and they like you, you may be able to move from one busines to another

Cons

They have an IMLP (Information Mgmt Leadership Program) program offered to college grads. It lasts 2 years and once these kids complete the program they are on the fast track to stardom at GE...to the detriment of everyone else. The result? Young people rising too fast and finding themselves in over their head with respect to their roles and responsibiities. This serves to demoralize the rest of the workforce...

Pros

My first job after college and my internship was a great experience. I learned a lot about medical devices and the medical device industry, and I even got promoted to site leader pretty quickly.

Cons

My training was nonexistent; I learned everything from medical device service manuals. In my region, a billion-dollar company offered no bonuses or decent pay, and the management was micromanaging and horrible.
