Good work-life balance but can be boring at times - Engineer GE Aerospace Employee Review

I retired last year after >30 years in the Engineering division. High quality colleagues and very interesting work.

Upper management quality has been inconsistent, but is better now.

My Boss, or People Leader as we call them at GE Aerospace, is one of the best people I've ever worked for ... and after a long career in the military, I've had quite a few leaders. She is very supportive, helpful when I need it, all without ever micromanaging my daily activities. I also love that this company lives up to its mission statement and really does put the customer first.

Upward mobility in the area where I work has been and will continue to be a difficult journey. It's better in other parts of the company.
