Pros
The work is very interesting, technically challenging, and rewarding. In my experience, there is not a lot of knee jerk, need it by the end of the day types of requests.
Cons
Compensation & promotions are assigned in what is described as an impartial process, but still seems to favor those who make a lot of noise in performing their job. Newly introduced high-deductible health care plan is designed to shift more cost towards the employees. Vacation, number of holidays, and yearly bonus is inferior to at least one competitor (Rolls-Royce Indy).
