I've seen guards get a .12 cent raise in 6 years. •There are no snow days or sick days given at any time during your employment causing further lose of income. •There are no paid holidays given at any time during your employment causing further lose of income. Clearly, a second job is needed to survive. In general, this is a difficult industry to make a career.
