How does this company work? Simple...managers make all the money. They get paid by numbers...more people on a job, more money in their pockets. If it means getting a whole load of people to travel and then stand and stare at a brick wall so be it. Steward wages are dreadful with some staff working crazy hours to make ends meet. Licensed staff get paid a bit better, but their rates are never guaranteed. Training is a farce...nobody's performance is assessed or logged. There's no way of knowing if someone's doing their job well. If you want to progress you have to suck up to some manager...not surprisingly favouritism and nepotism are rife. The company has very poor screening and will employ just about anyone; criminal records will not bar you from most jobs. I work in events and have seen some security guards/supervisors treat the public in a shocking manner. These guys are amateurs in every respect. If you want anything resembling a career or a job with some self-worth stay well away from this lot.
