Pros
I interned at the Fulbright Commission in Brussels for two months in 2015. The office there was small so I had the opportunity to tailor my internship towards my major and was also able to shadow everyone's work. Everyone was super nice and helpful.
Cons
Some housekeeping tasks were repetitive, however, most of them are real work and important to the organization. I did my internship during the summer so I didn't get to see the craziest times in the office, which is in the fall-winter.
