Pros

I have pretty much chartered my own career growth over my period of stay in this company. The flexibility and lack structure in the company has allowed me to grow faster than my peers. I have used the lack of direction from my superiors and the company as a whole, to motivate myself to search for lessons to educate myself to be better at my job. For the readers and contributors to this website, and Frost & Sullivan employees, my advise is to take the time that you have while you are in the company to learn as much as possible, and find the lessons in everything that you do in the company, especially lessons on how not to conduct yourself when you join other companies, or start your own businesses.

Cons

The company is severely unstructured, and there are no proper guidelines available, especially on accountabilities. It is very clear when there is credit to be claime, everyone will be clamoring to hog the limelight. Unfortunately, when there are faults and blame, everyone, including senior management will shun away from taking responsibilities and accountabilities. I will also authenticate the claims from other contributors to this website that this company is runned by Indian nationals, and have been set up for Indian nationals. Do not be surprised that in almost all offices around the world, the population of Indian nationals in each office if 50% or more!!! It is absurd that international offices are placed all over the world (Frost & Sullivan loves to sell itself by saying that it has 35 offices all over the world), Indian nationals are placed in these offices all over the world. It is also not surprising that these placements do not warrant their positions because they do not possess the necessary to do their jobs, lest even to try and play consultants to million/billion dollar corporations. The company's benefits can somewhat be considered to be a farce. Different departments in the company are always trying to claim a share of any deal that is closed. This cannabalistic behavior is caused by the very biased salary/pay structure. Salary is somewhat average or lesser; the only way anyone can get more pay is if they sell. Hence, sales become the focal point of this company. Selling is allowed from the director right down to a consultant. Unfortunately, to sell, the person selling will do anything to close a sale, i.e. giving atrociously large amounts of discounts, over promising deliverables, and sometimes even lie to the clients. Frost & Sullivan claims to have over 40 years of experience, starting from a market research company, to a leading consulting firm. The company is also now a leading event organizing company. It is also a leading awards hawking company. It is also a leading customer survey company. It is also a leading.....by this point, I think you get my drift. The company does not even know what its own capabilities, products, and services are anymore. Just that it will do anything to make a quick buck. Medical and dental benefits are the bare minimum to say the least. Forget it if you have a family, or planning to have one. Your family is not that valuable to the company. I have gone from being enthusiastic when I joined the company, to being very bitter, and now realizing that I actually bettered myself by being in this company, although it may sound rather cynical. But I have to say, my experience in this company so far has provided so many opportunities for me, as well as giving me valuable lessons in life and career.
