Pros
When it comes to being thrown into the deep end within a consultancy environment, there are few organisations that can provide the kind of environment that Frost and Sullivan can. Getting to know a business sector from the ground up is one of the few key benefits of working there, and it is this opportunity that makes Frost and Sullivan a great place to work, albeit for a fairly short period of time. The camaraderie can be quite strong, especially if you contribute to the overall profitability of your business unit. The opportunity to make business connections in your chosen field can be quite good.
Cons
Compared to other consultancies, the starting salary is extremely low and probably will not increase a great deal, regardless of how long you work there. Morale has a tendency to slide a great deal (a fact that management is usually oblivious to) and very little is done to improve it. The company has no problem generating a number of ideas as to the direction of the company, but doesn't do much to make employees "buy into" them. The benefits package is non-existent, and while working there my give starters a boost into the consultancy world, staying there for too long may signal the death knell of any chances of moving to another firm.
