Headed in the wrong direction! - Account Manager Frost & Sullivan Employee Review

Pros

The firm is very flexible with time off or schedule issues. Sometimes they allow senior reps to work remote or come into the office only 3 days a week. They use to serve lunch on the last two days of the month, but not anymore.

Cons

Expect constant changes to the business model and direction, of what use to be a very good market research firm. As an account manager/executive, your commission schedule will change throughout the year without much notice. Middle management has a policy of "managing by the spreadsheet", because most have little sales or management experience. Everyone works in cubicles, and I mean everyone. In terms of day to day work, expect most of your to be spent finding an analyst overseas to answer a clarification question to research study they wrote. Then expect them not to get back to you for at least a week and when they do get back to you, they want to bill the client for something that should have been explained better in the study. The QA process and quality of work coming from the research team is killing business, and Upper Management knows this.

Pros

I get to work from home

Cons

I haven't gotten my earned raises in 6 years. The only way you get your bonus is if you quit.
