Shop floor staff are mostly hard working and down to earth. Middle management in support functions are conscientious and are trying to work in often difficult situations.
Cons
There is a deeply ingrained and toxic culture of blame, bullying and favouritism throughout the production department management structure. This culture is being propagated and normalised from the top down and is being ignored by both HR and senior management despite being highlighted multiple times by people from multiple departments. Very little opportunity for progression. Many people have been in the same roles for many years - and in some cases (related to the above), promotions or career moves have actually been blocked to the detriment of other departments. Compensation package is at the low end of market rate.
