Pros

Good pay, Lavit machines in break rooms are awesome.

Cons

Culture does not facilitate cooperation to any degree. Layoffs are imminent on everyone's mind, and that makes getting anything done far more difficult than it needs to be. IT systems are a mess; there are so many different systems to perform the same function that it is almost impossible to figure out whether information is accurate/complete. Very meeting-heavy culture, but they don't seem to know how to run a meeting. Meetings never feature an agenda, frequently deviate from the main topic, usually run twice as long as scheduled, and almost always require multiple follow-up meetings to rehash the same discussions. There is such an emphasis on turning the company around that they have become reckless in implementing changes. There is no desire to fix the company, only to make changes and say they are doing something. McKinsey's consultants run the company, and will not tolerate deviance from their instructions or plan. They are the most arrogant people I've ever met, run late to almost every meeting. Their consultants rotate off this assignment as quickly as possible, and their replacement doesn't even attempt to figure out what was going on.
