Pros
- Good exposure to different industries and manufacturing processes. - Chance to learn quickly if you’re placed on a challenging customer account.
Cons
- Your workload and experience depend heavily on which customer you support. Some accounts are smooth, others very demanding. - Manpower allocation can be uneven, so if resources are stretched, expect longer hours and pressure. - Benefits and recognition are average. Better than SMEs but not as good as most OEMs. - People mostly keep to their own lane. Thus cross-functional collaboration can be limited.
