Pros

This is a job. That’s about it.

Cons

They will lie to you during your interview to get you to join the company. The work culture is toxic. The management is non existent. There are a ton of managers, but you will never see them. They are to busy sitting at their desk to go around and show face to try and get to know their employees. During my interview I asked what the morale of the company was and they said it was great…. What a complete lie. There is no morale at this company. They told me that the reason the position was open, was because they were expanding and less than a month into the job they started cutting back and letting people go. The future does not look bright for this company. They will have supervisors go around and take photos of you to try and catch you doing things. Within my first month of employment I saw my manager one time, and that was because I had to go out and seek him. But it took me a month to find him. They regularly mess up your pay. They will make you use your PTO if the company has a “software update” they need to perform. So good luck saving up your PTO, if you would like to take a vacation. The training for your job duties is barely existent. They will tell you that you will figure it out as you go. But if you don’t learn fast enough they will talk behind your backs and tell management you are useless.

Pros

Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) were quite good.

Cons

Flex tolerates a toxic work culture from their most senior leaders. My director, literally, yelled at me daily, usually throughout the day. He physically grabbed me and forced me in the direction he wanted me to move. He threatened to fire me or replace me at least once a week. I went to the then director of HR who did absolutely nothing. After she was let go I went to her successor who told me there was no record of me speaking with HR before. And she did nothing. Unable to tolerate the work environment, I left. The company doesn't take safety seriously. We had shelving collapse resulting in an employee needing medical attention. The person tasked with designing and building storage has no training, no mechanical background, and no analysis is being performed to validate if the storage can hold 1,000+ pounds. There's no budget for professionally designed storage and, again, I was threatened for raising this as a concern. I learned today this same director is continuing to use me as a scapegoat despite me no longer working there.
