Pros

Good staff Not ran like a call center

Cons

Terrible place to work wether you are in the warehouse or offices . The management team has little experience and have a tendency to team up and bully you if you have a complaint. It’s a real shame because I have met some amazing and friendly people while working there and I feel for them still being underpaid and mislead by their managers. Basically if you want to do little and befriend management you might get far at flex but if you have a good work ethic please avoid at all costs as they will just use you and drain you until you mention the work load. At that point they would rather turn on you than train the rest of the team to do a fair share of work. People should also be warned that flex is not as inclusive and multicultural as they advertise . You will not be aloud to speak your horn language at work, you will be invited to days out if you are female but will not if you are male and so on … In my opinion they are stuck in the past and don’t quite understand equality of opportunity. Experience will not be valued but friendships and clicky personalities will be your best shot at making it!!! Good luck to any of you joining or currently working at Flex . The bright side is that you can leave Flex for a better life at any time. It just took me too long to realise this.

Pros

Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) were quite good.

Cons

Flex tolerates a toxic work culture from their most senior leaders. My director, literally, yelled at me daily, usually throughout the day. He physically grabbed me and forced me in the direction he wanted me to move. He threatened to fire me or replace me at least once a week. I went to the then director of HR who did absolutely nothing. After she was let go I went to her successor who told me there was no record of me speaking with HR before. And she did nothing. Unable to tolerate the work environment, I left. The company doesn't take safety seriously. We had shelving collapse resulting in an employee needing medical attention. The person tasked with designing and building storage has no training, no mechanical background, and no analysis is being performed to validate if the storage can hold 1,000+ pounds. There's no budget for professionally designed storage and, again, I was threatened for raising this as a concern. I learned today this same director is continuing to use me as a scapegoat despite me no longer working there.
