Pros

Their companies values only apply when it benefits the company and the leadership is very poor. I found no pros working for Flextronics, too bad really. I went to work for Flextronics thinking I was making a solid career change to find about the supervisor disrespected women in the position I was hired in. I was underminded me in front of co-workers over and over. I went to the manager several times and nothing was done. The work center was a Hostile working environment.

Cons

Only con was a free health screening. The health insurance plan was horrible. The health insurance is a HSA just horrible. Dental Plan was good though. I worked 6 days a week for two years to get a new product to market to be re-paid back by laying me off, my husband and 1,100 other people once the project was completed. I will never work for Flextronics in my career again nor do I recommend it to anyone. The pay is also very low if you do not have a degree such as I an my husband did. Most people were only getting paid $10 hr and when converted up to $10.50 hour.

Pros

Very friendly, as close to family as a company can get. Extremely large, so support exists for any task, even if not on site.

Cons

Long over burdened processes for capital to produce quality goods, on time. Pay for talent is lower than industry average

Pros

Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) were quite good.

Cons

Flex tolerates a toxic work culture from their most senior leaders. My director, literally, yelled at me daily, usually throughout the day. He physically grabbed me and forced me in the direction he wanted me to move. He threatened to fire me or replace me at least once a week. I went to the then director of HR who did absolutely nothing. After she was let go I went to her successor who told me there was no record of me speaking with HR before. And she did nothing. Unable to tolerate the work environment, I left. The company doesn't take safety seriously. We had shelving collapse resulting in an employee needing medical attention. The person tasked with designing and building storage has no training, no mechanical background, and no analysis is being performed to validate if the storage can hold 1,000+ pounds. There's no budget for professionally designed storage and, again, I was threatened for raising this as a concern. I learned today this same director is continuing to use me as a scapegoat despite me no longer working there.
