Pros
Very relaxed, people are friendly and its a great place to learn about fundamental credit analysis. The company also supports you through your CFA exams and provides other avenues for training. As a trainee you also get early exposure to management teams of the companies you rate.
Cons
The pay is well below what the Street/City pays and bonuses are non existent. Fitch lacks the prestige of S&P and Moody's which may make it hard to exit to the buy side. The lack of market emphasis means that more tenured employees will find it tough to leave....hence my suggestion that you get your CFA exams and get out.
