Pros
- Good pay (though I have often been told that new hires make more than me and have been given proof.) - M-F, occasional weekend events but nothing crazy. - PTO, 401K, company match, mileage reimbursement, quarterly incentives. - CEO is wonderful. I've always had much respect for him and his values.
Cons
- Ever since the merger with Centene it has been terrible. I have worked with Fidelis for 8 years now and have constantly been worried about job security. - You are REAL QUICK to be written up or have your job threatened now. There is NO room for error. - There is little to no training, especially being an employee who primarily works out of the office, the only updates and communication are via email, and you better hope that you retain that information and don't mess up because your job will depend on it. - Un-knowledgeable management, you'll get written up or scolded for not meeting quotas but others on your team won't. Completely unfair! - When you talk to management about your worries (IE losing your job) they tell you that there is a process and not to worry because you will be well aware if there is an issue - FALSE FALSE FALSE. You'll be blindsided!! - Some co-workers are treated like royalty and are "untouchable" (and it's painfully obvious!) -- they can do no wrong, and will not get in trouble for things (even when management sees/finds proof!) - if you mention it to your supervisor, they will just state that they have "not gotten around to talking with them yet!"
