Pros

Fidelity's lower management teams excel at providing benefits to valued employees while upper management continue to shuffle the deck and reduce benefits. Fidelity's lower management does communicate well with employees and provide structured leadership through times of change. The employees at Fidelity are top-notch and it is excellent to work with a skilled team of individuals.

Cons

Fidelity's upper management lack focus on the business and the business needs. Fidelity's organizational structure is constantly in flux. Fidelity's upper management will not commit to decisions and all processes are very slow. Unnecessary and inefficient processes are forced on employees. Fidelity does not give raises even to professional level employees in some years even when revenue growth is positive. Fidelity's standard annual raises in other years have never met inflation.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
