poor recruiting and operations - Vertical Growth Strategy FIS Employee Review

i was contacted by Worldpay for a strategy position, once initial interiews were conducted and salary agreed upon, i was awaiting on the hiring manager to come back to me on next stages. After a number of weeks and me chasing the recruiter i had still heard nothing and was awaiting on this as to whether accept another job. The hiring manager never got back to me and nor did the recruiter. I later spoke to another manager from their team and he spoke to the hiring manager and asked him to give me a call - the feedback i received from the hiring manager indirectly was the following 'its not worth his time to call you, he says he found a far better and higher caliber candidate than you and won't be calling you back.' When applying for a senior position in a worldwide company i would expect better behavior than this from a company such as worldpay. I shan't be applying again.
